Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as eyebrow embroidery, microstroking, feather touch, and hair like strokes is a form of semi-permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments. Pigment is implanted under the skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Hair-like strokes are drawn to mimic natural hairs in your brows.
Ombre (Manual or Machine)
Ombré brows are a great choice for the client that wants a more defined look. This technique differs from microblading in that we create a misty, powder filled brow similar to the look of makeup, as opposed to simulated hair. The tails of the brow are darker, and fade into a light start to the brow, giving that perfect ombre makeup effect!
Combo Brow (Microblading + Ombre)
Want the best of both worlds? Why, yes! This method is a mix of the microblading (hair stroke) technique with the powder fill technique. This is also a great option for those with very oily skin, or who wants a natural, yet still defined eyebrow. This technique will give you the ultimate 3D brow shape and will provide you with a long lasting, defined brow.

Permanent lip liner (or lip tattooing) uses color to enhance the appearance of lips while creating the illusion of fullness. The process is much like traditional body art tattooing. But permanent lip liner uses pigment (not ink) to create a more natural, powdery effect. Ink can look too harsh and unnatural. The makeup artist will draw the outline of the lips and/or blend color into the entire lip. This added definition creates fullness in the lips, much like the plumped-up look of lip injections. You can work with your technician to choose the outline and shape you desire.
Because the lips are especially sensitive, there is pain involved. An anesthetic will help reduce pain. You may still feel pressure, tension, or some discomfort during the procedure.
The healing process takes about 10 days. Try to schedule your procedure later in the week so the swelling can diminish over the weekend. Needle stimulation during the treatment can trigger cold sore outbreaks. If you are prone to cold sores, consider taking preventative medication, including Lysine supplements, well in advance of the procedure. Post-treatment care involves avoiding exfoliation, oils, lipstick, and spicy foods for about 10 days. If you don’t like the results, laser removal is possible.
Lip shading (or “lip blushing”) creates a subtle, lip-stained effect. As with body tattooing, pigment is deposited utilizing a needle by a trained technician. The artist will first create a custom hue by blending pigments that suit and enhance your natural lip tone. Then comes the application of color, which can take up to two hours. As a temporary added bonus, the process may create the illusion of fullness without having to undergo a filler due to swelling from the tattoo process, although this will likely only last a few days. While everyone has a different pain threshold, the procedure may be a bit painful, as the skin is very thin and sensitive in this area. However, if you opt to use topical anesthetic, you’ll likely only feel pressure and discomfort.
The resulting color can last for two to five years before a touch-up is required. If you’re not completely thrilled with the results, there is no immediate option for removal--you simply wait for it to fade. Other things to consider are potential post-procedure infection, irritation and/or redness around the lip area. During the healing process, which lasts up to two weeks, avoid using abrasive products, lipstick, lip oils or excessive touching of the lips. No worries, though--these side effects are rare and most people enjoy a more youthful pout with this procedure!
